I'm a 'just-because-I-feel-like-it' photographer based in Denver, CO. I'm a natural introvert who loves to be behind the scenes and catch moments that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. Think of me like an artsy fly on the wall. I would describe my style as a mix of modern yet timeless romanticism with some candid and photojournalistic vibes.
Couples and weddings are my specialty, but I also shoot boudoir, maternity, seniors, and products.
I have been in love with photography for such a long time, but I took the leap to start taking clients at the beginning of 2022. I’ve also been a freelance makeup artist and hairstylist. I have worked with both brides and models and even worked #NYSFW15. My work was on the cover of Nicas En El Exterior News magazine for Miss Hispanidad International, Ceyla Bucardo. I have experience working in the beauty world as well as the wedding world, thanks to my time at Blonde and Brunette Events.
The reason I’ve loved photography for such a long time, besides the age-old ‘because time stands still’ answer (which is still very much true), is that you can make the moment how you want it. Photographs aren’t only meant for special occasions. Sometimes people want nice/fun/spicy photos JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TO, and I am 100% here for it. On top of ‘just because’, weddings are meant to be remembered and not stressed over because you can’t afford quality pictures to remember your special day. I don’t want to knock down anyone who has different pricing, but this is just how I roll. I want everyone to acknowledge the idea of Romancing Your Life.
You’ll look back on these photos when you’re older and realize you’re glad to have these memories (and that body, am I right?!).
You're the main character...
I know a lot of realistic minds will say, ‘I can just take the pictures myself’ or ‘I just need a tripod. ’ And yes, yes, you can. And even I have a hard time breaking down and purchasing things for myself. But don’t think of this as something for yourself, only for now, it’s for “future you." I know you’re the one who takes pictures of everyone else, and yes, you’re in the important pictures, but you know you are the main character in your story, right?
Maybe you’re still thinking ‘I don’t know the first thing about posing’, ‘we don’t know how to look good in pictures’, or ‘I would feel weird getting cozy in front of the camera’. Those are all valid reasons to be timid. But, that’s what I’m here for. I am an introvert, and I know it’s hard to break that comfort shell, but I’m here to make sure your laughs and smiles are genuine.
